Meg Alexander is an American artist whose work is based in drawing. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University. Alexander was a finalist (twice) for a Massachusetts Cultural Council Drawing & Printmaking Fellowship and was awarded an Alumni/ae Traveling Fellowship from SMFA/Tufts.
She has had solo exhibitions at Gallery Kayafas (Boston, MA); Allston Skirt (Boston, MA); Howard Yezerski (Boston, MA); and the Taylor Gallery at Kimball Union Academy (Meriden, NH). Her drawings have been presented in numerous group exhibitions including at the Museum of Fine Arts (Boston, MA); The Institute of Contemporary Art at Maine College of Art & Design (Portland, ME); Tufts University Art Gallery (Medford, MA); Drive-by Projects (Watertown, MA); and Page Bond Gallery (Richmond, VA). Alexander’s work is included in numerous private and corporate collections. The artist lives and works in Concord, MA.
